Gear processing is mainly to control the accuracy of transmission between gears when the gear is running, such as the stability of the transmission, the fluctuation of instantaneous speed, if there is alternating reverse operation, whether the tooth backlash reaches the required range, if there is impact load, the precision should be slightly improved, so as to reduce the damage caused by impact load to the gear.

       

If the above design requirements are relatively high, the gear precision will also be set a little higher, otherwise can be set lower. However, the gear precision is set too high, will rise the processing cost, need comprehensive balance. (tooth thickness) deviation level is also the level given by the designer under specific conditions. Precision transmission is higher, general machinery is lower, closed transmission is higher, and open transmission is lower.
